Worsted weight yarn in 2 colors:

    Color A: Grey

    Color B: Light blue

White worsted weight yarn

Safety eyes

4.5 mm hook

2.75 hook

Sewing needle


Chain stitch – ch

Double Crochet – dc

Slip stitch – sl st

Magic circle – mc

Half double crochet – hdc

Single crochet – sc

Treble crochet – tr


– Chain stitches do not count as stitches



Make 2, 1 in color A, 1 in color B

1- Create mc

2- Hdc 4 into the mc (4)

3- Ch 1, work 2 hdc around (8)

4- Ch 1, *hdc, 2 hdc* repeat around (12)

5- Ch 1, *hdc, hdc, 2hdc* repeat around (16)

Tie off


Using white and 2.75 hook make 2

1- Ch 16

2- Turn and sc into 2nd stitch from hook, hdc, dc

3- Skip 2 stitches, sl st into next st

4- Ch 4, sc, hdc, dc

5- Skip a stitch, sl st into next st

6- Repeat rows 4-5 2 more times but on last row skip 2 st and sl st into last sc

Tie off


Using white make 2

1- Create mc

2- Make 6 sc into mc

Tie off


Using color A make 3

1- Ch 6

2- Turn and work sc into 2nd ch from hook, sc, hdc, dc, tr

Tie off


– Sew the 2 heads together

– Sew on the eyes to the color A head

– Attach safety eyes

– Sew on the fins, one on the head, one on each side of the body

– Sew teeth together

– Sew the lower jaw along the seam of the head
