Merry Christmas! I hope you all are having a wonderful time with family and friends. One of my absolute favorite things during the holidays is to wrap presents. Sparkly paper with big bows give me all the feels. These DIY initial gift tags are a quick and easy way to add a beautiful personal touch to your wrappings.

– Embossed paper
Open Cricut Design Space on your computer. Select a favorite font for the initial. I used dafont.com to find a calligraphy font that would look nice cutout. Also, be aware that it needs to be thick enough for the name to be written on. Here I used the font Amarillo. If you don’t know how to download a font and use it in Cricut Design Space click HERE for an easy tutorial. It only takes a few steps!
Next, select a font that will be written on the letter. I recommend a smaller handwritten font, like Champagne and Limousines. Then manipulate the text to fit wherever you’d like it to. With some letters, like C, I used the curve tool to adjust the name since there was not a straight place for it.
Then attach the initial and name and make it! I picked up this cute pad of embossed Christmas paper last year at Joann’s and they worked great. I was able to fit four 3″ tags on one piece.
You can either tape or use string to attach your tags to your presents and there you have it! All of your recipients will feel special with a custom initial gift tag.
