Happy New Year! 2018 was crazy for us to say the least. We adopted our cute pup, moved and had a baby! Now that it’s 2019 I’m looking forward to not being pregnant 😉, exploring our new town and making lots of memories as a new family of three.
Yes, I know it’s the biggest cliche to get on the fitness bandwagon come January 1st, but somehow my sister-in-law convinced me to run a half marathon with her later this year. I have NEVER been a runner but why not start now!
These cute bow scrunchies are all over and they’re the perfect accessory for any workout or daily wear! I thought it was silly to pay 6-7$ when I could make one with some dreamy Bernat Velvet yarn and elastic! What I most love most about this yarn are the beautiful color choices. You can’t go wrong!

Due to the velvet texture, it can be hard to see your stitches. Don’t be afraid to use a lot of stitch markers to keep track of your place.

Sew in the ends of your bow and tie a knot tightly around the seam of your scrunchie. Your ends may appear short at first but keep pulling them, tightening the knot.
